Your Spring Break in Rosarito Beach Mexico begins with a breathtakingly beautiful scenic drive alongside the sparkling waters of the Pacific - what more could you desire to put you in the mood for a great vacation? Rosarito Beach is fast becoming the most popular Spring Break destination there is, and not without good reason.
From as far back as the 1920s, there's been a distinctly glamorous and enchanting feel to Rosarito Beach, Mexico. In those days, it was the ultimate celebrity hideaway, the exotic and relaxing beach paradise frequented by the likes of Rita Hayworth and her husband, Prince Aly Khan. And if it's good enough for the stars, there's got to be something special about Spring Break in Rosarito Beach! Nowadays, it's a well-known filming location: "Titanic", for example, was shot here in 1996. If you visit the Fox Studios (just south of downtown), you'll even be able to see a movie museum.   Given its history as a Hollywood star hangout, it's no surprise that Rosarito Beach quickly became a popular vacation destination. Not only is it conveniently located only 20 miles south of the US border, but it has one of the most agreeable climates in the world, generally described as"perfect': clear blue skies and temperatures in the 70s/80s practically all year round. Perfect for lazing on those warm, sandy beaches, perfect for splashing around in those crystal clear waters, perfect for your Rosarito Beach Spring Break, wouldn't you say?
And there's no shortage of things to do in Roasarito Beach. Watersports fans will love the fabulous surfing opportunities available here - some of the most famous and popular surf spots around. It's also fun to check out the local shops and markets. Colorful, noisy, crowded and busy, they're a great way to experience the local way of life, browse through traditional Mexican crafts, and pick up a bottle of your favorite scent - duty-free, of course!
At night, there is just as much to do, and the influx of students who choose Rosarito as their Spring Break destination guarantees that the nightlife will be buzzing with vacationing youths all looking to have fun and meet new people. The open-air cantinas on the beaches are particully popular, with all kinds of activities from mechanical bulls to volleyball, and music from a DJ.
And one final word - don't neglect to visit Puerto Nueva, the world-famous "Lobster Village" just south of Rosarito, where the lobster is so indescribably good that tourists come from all over the world to sample it in one of over forty restaurants all serving the same thing! Good food, good weather, good people, good fun- all good reasons to choose Rosarito Beach for your Spring Break!

All inclusive spring break packages is typically a phrase that does not go together. Since price is the number one factor for most spring break students, an all inclusive package is usually out of bounds... or is it?
Many college spring break students do not realize that an all inclusive spring break package may cost them less when they put the pencil to it. It really depends on each person or group and their specific activities when on their spring break vacation.
If you plan on eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner at fast food restaurants then read no further. This type of group will definitely spend less with a non all inclusive spring break package or "core package". Personally, I wouldn't recommend eating that much fat three times per day for five to seven days but I do understand that dollar pinching may be an issue with any student spring break trip.
On the other hand, if you plan on eating at average to very upscale restaurants then an all inclusive package could be the way to go. It really depends on a few things. Will it be fast food for breakfast and lunch then a nice meal at an average to upscale restaurant for dinner? If the answer is yes, then it all depends on the price of each particular all inclusive package. If you plan on eating at least two meals at the average to upscale restaurants then I would suggest an all inclusive package.
Many all inclusive spring break trips include alcohol during the duration of your stay at the hotel. If you're big drinkers and the all inclusive package includes alcohol, then it's almost always much cheaper in the long run to choose the all inclusive option. Bahamas packages almost always have cheap all inclusive packages associated with them, many of which include alcohol. Bahama cruises also have all inclusive deals with alcohol included on the ship and at the hotel in the Bahamas.
Choose your package carefully. Get as much information as you can. All inclusive packages set the mind at ease because you no longer need to worry about how much you will spend on the trip. Everything is paid for in advance and you can just relax and enjoy great food, drinks, and activities. Make spring break 2009 your best spring break ever.

Gemstones that make a unique statement and compliment the users attitude and sense of style will play an important part in the upcoming trends for the jewelry retailers and artists in 2013. Spring colors are always flush with earth tones: light brown, yellows, pastel blues and greens and even greys of various intensity. That makes Spring so exciting - there's almost no limit to the gemstone choices when it comes to the tones and gorgeous blends of nature.
Jasper and Agate will play huge part in jewelry designs as Winter sets in and warmer colors grace the clothing manufacturers sense of coziness. Special blends of tan and vanilla will go great with the gold wraps that become popular ever spring. That will make Andalusite and Botswana Agate worth snatching up, whether it be in beads or flat discs. Even rough, uncut specimens of these gems will be easy for wire-wrapping artists to make beautiful and unique pieces that will look great in any store.
While Smokey Quartz has been a little overdone in the past few years, it is still a viable gemstone for accents, mixed in with darker ones such as Dravite Brown Tourmaline. Even though they don't qualify as gems, wood and bone will make a play again as Spring brings forth a sense of eco and green concerns. 2013 will be the year of purples and all its wonderful tones, but don't just think of Amethyst when you think of purple. Charoite, Lepidolite and Lavender Chalcedony offer a far more spectacular mix of tones than the clear and often over-used Amethyst.
There's never too many choices when it comes to gemstones. The vast array of colors simply makes it that much easier when looking at the clothing trends for Winter and Spring. Often, as jewelry designers faced with 'chasing' the popular colors of Spring, we become overwhelmed with what gemstones will be accepted by our customers. Just keep in mind that complimentary is the name of the game. Until you marry two pieces together, it's nearly impossible to see how great a gemstone's color will go with a nice outfit.
Strong mixes in gemstone colors like stripes and spots will give any artist room to breathe. The warmer winter fashion palette helps bring out the creative in every designer and there's and endless amount of possibilities when it come to mixing metals, clothing and gemstones together. Smart retailers will find a way to creatively merchandise fancy gemstones for a sharp and earthy brand.
Picking the right gemstone is only half the battle for successful retailers and designers. Discover how the hottest jewelry trends can make or break your consumer's purchasing habits, and ensure that your brand stays strong.

Planning a cruise vacation and worried about not having enough time to grab those deals that cruise lines have been announcing? Thanks to cruise travel agencies, booking last minutes cruises need not burn a hole in your pocket. Cruise lines looking to fill their unsold cabins offer them at discounted rates, and allow you to get onboard even at the eleventh hour!
For example, Carnival Cruises has announced a cruise vacation package at just $62/day aboard the Carnival Fantasy. The roundtrip from Charleston sails on the 5th of September and visits Freeport and Nassau in The Bahamas. Disney too, offers last minute cruise vacation deals aboard the 'Disney Wonder' and visits Victoria, British Columbia and Ensenada, Mexico. The 5 day journey that begins from Vancouver and ends at Los Angeles costs only $704 for an Ocean view cabin and $554 for an interior cabin!

Holland America and Princess Cruises too, have come up with great offers and discounts to attract vacationers. In fact Holland America offers a 7 day voyage to the Mexican Riviera aboard the MS Oosterdam for just $73/day. The round trip that begins on the 9th of April from San Diego touches ports of Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas.
Royal Caribbean has announced several packages for cruise enthusiasts. You can cruise from England to Amsterdam and Copenhagen for just $182 for an interior cabin or $297 for a balcony cabin. The ship sets sail on the 29th of April and reaches Copenhagen on the 3rd of May.
One problem with these last minute cruises is that they might not always match your requirements. These are in fact the ideal choice for last minute cruise vacationers when itineraries or cabin preferences don't matter much.
While last minute cruises are often advertised on the website of cruise lines, cruise travel agencies can help you secure a deal that's even lower than the one that's advertised. And it's not only about the offers and discounts, cruise travel agencies help vacationers book a package that suited to their taste and requirements.
Booking a cruise vacation involves deciding on the right budget, the right destination, the right cruise line and the right cabin location. For example, if you're booking a cruise package to Alaska, an ocean view cabin would be the ideal choice so you could feast your eyes on whales and orcas that swim by. Remember to choose a travel agency that's well established and is affiliated to a major syndicate.

For many local and international students in America, one of the easiest places to visit on spring break is Puerto Rico. If you are a US citizen, then things get all the more easier since you don't need a passport. Puerto Rico is a commonwealth state of the USA and therefore citizens have the added advantages.
Now, if you are planning a spring break to this gorgeous island, then the best time to go would be between December and April. One of the best things around this time of the year is the weather that prevails. But the one thing you have to remember is that it is also peak time for all the tourists of the world to descend on the place.
When you get there, remember that as a student you are on a budget. Now all of the casinos will look very inviting and it is very easy to lose all you have in just one night. Try not to do that. If you must gamble, do stick to the table-based games as these will ensure that you don't turn pauper instantly. A great thing about the city, as far as currency goes, is that the US dollar is the official currency. If you are on a budget, you should be able to get decent boarding for around $40 to around $75 a day. As for food, stick to the simple eating, ranging from $5 to $15. Again, it is very easy to go overboard here. Don't be surprised if they refer to the dollar as peso, they still mean the dollar.
If you have a valid US driving license, then you can easily drive in Puerto Rico. Living here as a tourist then becomes a bit cheaper since you can move around in affordable rented transportation. Also, for emergencies you can call 911. Make sure you pay a visit to the largest mall in the Caribbean, Plaza Las Américas. If you are a sucker for US brands, then everything from Wal-Mart to JC Penney is available here.
For a truly historical outing, head up to El Morro Fort. This is a 3-century old fortress that covers San Juan and is one of the best kite-flying spots you can find internationally. Even if you aren't interested in something that sounds as mundane, it is a sight that can convert you. And since you will be indulging in the nightlife, remember that Puerto Rico is the world's largest maker of rum. So it's a great time to let your hair down.

Spring Break 2010 will be the largest and longest party of 2010 for most college students. New Years parties typically last one or two days, but college break last an entire week. Combine that with a tropical destination filled with twenty or thirty of your best friends and you've got one incredible experience, but where?
Where is everyone going and which package is the most popular, affordable, etc... This is the question on every college students mind when they research spring break trips on the internet. Luckily, you have ways of finding out using a few simple steps.
1)Look for complete spring break packages under $600. Most students can't afford to pay more than $600 at this stage of their life. Many college students will pay above $600, but the majority will be booking cheap spring break vacations.
2)Look for all-inclusive packages. College students love to know that everything is included in one price. They don't like to worry about how much spending money they will need for food, alcohol, jet skis, banana boats, parasailing, and club entry. Your probably thinking it's impossible to find all inclusive trips for less than $600. Trust me they are out there, but they typically sell out 6 or 7 months in advance each year. Word gets around quickly and these types of packages sell out earlier and earlier each year.
3)Lastly, try to eliminate airfare. An airfare ticket can often cost as much or more than hotel accommodations for 4 to 7 nights. Spring break cruises are a great alternative. Many cruises depart from Florida during the month of March. They travel to the Bahamas and other parts of the Caribbean. These ships typically sell out the month of March before December 1st each year. Some of the cruises depart everyday, others depart every other day in March, and they are filled with 100% college students.
Do your research, prepare early, and make spring break 2010 the best ever for you and your friends.
